Saturday  —  Nov. 2nd
This was a very well attended Street Nite event with 202 entries in the eight classes offered. The weather was perfect, temp hit the high 50’s and dropped down to the mid 40’s at the end of the racing. Great air to go fast. Q16 had 28 entries with a quick 5.27 bump to make the field. Quick 16 had Pat Hahn in his new Corvette win out over Lin Bowie, Tracy Stroup and Jerry Williams were the semi racers. The 5.90 Index was won by Chuck Wishard over Mike Shoop. There were 21 6.50 Index racers with Eric Bowles winning over Joey Harrison. The 7.10 Index class was won by Travis Hill Jr. over Tammy Gray. There were 34 entries in Pro with Gary Kelican over Rick Wenger and yes Rick finally found the nine second zone with 9.99 and 9.97 pass during eliminations. Sportsman class had 31 entries. In the final Dave Toms won out over Lester Holtzapple. In nine races this year, Lester had three runner ups and one win, he also set lowest ET ever for the 68 Firebird ,a 11.26 ET @119.84 mph.He did my car proud this year, thank you! We did run a Gamblers race for the Harry Huntzberry Memorial Stock / Super Stock racers with Shane Oaks winning over Bubba Linke, there were 31 entries. Also Steve Dicky did a good bit of announcing, he loves S/Stk eliminator and did really well too.  We finished up about 8:30 pm. By the way, cars were really fast, best ET and speeds for many all year. The track was plainly dynamite!
Sunday  —  Nov. 3rd
This was the main event, the $10,000.00 to win Harry Huntzberry Memorial Stock / Super Stock race. We got going at noon with the Stk / S/S getting two time runs. In the end and under the lights it was Nick Chiles receiving the big $10,000,00 winners check over Ryan Horensky who picked up $2,000.00. Allison Doll and Roger Reese were the semi finalists. there were 60 cars in round one, great, close, hard charging wheel standing passes round after round, what a show. We had a good amount of race fans to witness the event too. The Test and Tune turn out was good also with 70+ cars making plenty of passes. The no entry fee Gamblers race was won by Caleb Peddicord over Dave Clinedinst. This event also finished up under the lights. Aside from one top end clean up early in the event it went very well. A big thanks to the Huntzberry family and Troy Huntzberry in particular, our Stock / Super Stock racers that made the long tow to race, our loyal and dedicated race fans and lastly to the entire Mason Dixon staff including Elmer and Cathy Wachter who own the track. Well done. Ok, this weekend, Nov. 9th and 10th we are closed, Saturday Nov. 16th is a Test & Tune Event and Sunday Nov. 17th is our annual Turkey Race, all classes contested! See you on the 16th and 17th at Mason Dixon Dragway!
