Saturday. —.  May 2nd

This was a SBRA race contested on a cool day with temps in the mid 60’s. We got underway at 9:30 am sharp with 25 Junior Dragster entries. The big winner was Mallory Dietz over Braelin Bowie in a close one. Laney Thomas and Rayleen Woods were the semi racers. We had six racers that made the long trip from southeast Pennsylvania to run with us, the Ecks, Stack and Martin families all performed well. Hope to see them again soon. At 11:30 am the big cars took over. In Pro Dicky Bodmer won in a close one over Billy Stotler. Boyd Mathias took third. With a new payout format we drew 19 Bikes, Kevin Hamilton won over Boyd Mathias. Super was won by Lin Bowie over Alex Maglaris, semi racers were Mark Decker and Andy Dolan. Nice turnout with close racing on a dynamite track. Steve Dickey was with us and did a lot of announcing, as always a pleasure to have Steve with us for sure! We finished up about 5:30 pm.
Sunday. —  May 3rd
This was a Test & Tune day starting at noon. Our Junior Dragster racers asked if they could do Gamblers no entry fee race for them and we did it. This time 19 entries battled it out. Blaine Proctor took the win over Mason Blumenhauer with Laney Thomas taking 3rd place. How about 5 year old  Harper Sexton making her Junior Dragster license passes. The last one a 14.25 @ 42 mph. Outstanding driving, she’s going a long way in the future I’m sure. Big cars Gamblers was won by Chris Forman over George Stanley, Dahryl Clark took third. We finished up later than advertised . Another good day we  got done about 5:15 pm.
Ok this Saturday May 9 is our second Street Nite event getting underway at 11:30 am. See you at Mason Dixon Dragway this Saturday.
