Saturday — June 29th
Once again very warm and humid weather greeted our racers on the Pro, Super Pro and Nasty 9’s race. We got going right at 12 noon and all three classes got two time runs. In Pro it was Dicky Bodmer over Scott Drayer with Brandon Michaels and Ben Snouffer the semi racers, this class had 76 entries, In Super it was Scotty Bodmer over Jim Ryan, Darlene Staub took third place. The Nasty 9’s had 9 entries with the index set at 9.90. John Moser took the win over Jason Henry. As we were winding down storms were close by, we finished up at 6pm. The rains hit later. Very good racing today and the track worked well despite the high temperatures.
Sunday — June 30th
With really warm temps and high humidity and storms predicted we canceled the Test & Tune event.
Friday July 5th, is a Test & Tune event 6 to 10 pm. Saturday and Sunday are points races for Summit points AND SBRA points. Looking for a really good turnout for this one. Happy 248th birthday of our great country on Thursday July 4th! Be safe everyone, see you this weekend at Mason Dixon Dragway!
