Friday. — August 8th
This was a Friday night Test & Tune event that went from 6pm to 11pm. We had great weather that greeted 70 racers. Overall a Good Friday night event.
Saturday. — August 9th
This was a really good Street Nite event that got underway at 2Pm with 140 entries and a nice turnout of race fans too. Nasty 9’a had nine entries with the dial in set at 9.85. Charlie Booze won out over teammate Scott Milhimes. Quick 16 had 27 entries with bump spot set at 5.30 ET. In the end Lin Bowie won out over Lucien Payne, Mitch Willingham and Derek Clark were the semi racers. In the 5.90 Index class Cecil Bruce won over Brent Beachley. In 6.50 Index it was Mike Fortney over Dave Slusher. The 7.10 Index was won by Garrett Suders over Ted Leatherwood. Pro was won by Joe Slifko over Josh Sisk. Sportsman was won by Scott Sease over Kelly Fleming. Finally Drive In street was won by Glenn Estell over Jess Goodman. We finished up about 9:15pm. An overall good Street Nite event that the nicer weather helped out a good bit I’m sure. How about 3 Demons Performace with two Demon 170 high horsepower cars taking service veterans rides down track. They all got two rides, this made event a great night for all in attendance.
