This was the second Street Nite event of the year and weather couldn’t have been better, temps hit 70 degrees with a light breeze. Near perfect conditions for racers and race fans alike. We got underway right at 2pm with all racers getting two time runs. The Nasty 9’s got things underway with their index set at fast 9.75. In the final Dan Ryntz won over Steve Kurimchak. Oh ATI Performance Products is now sponsoring the Nasty 9’s class. Quick 16 had 25 entries and the bump was a fast 5.35. mark Decker won out in an excellent close race over Mike Daymude, semi racers were Jerry Williams and Jeremy Curray. 5.90 Index had 16 entries with Scotty Bodmer in his stunning 66 Chevy Nova over Dan Shaffer. The 6.50 Index had Denny Cooper, on his birthday win out over Dave Slusher. The 7.10 Index was won by Dennis Blanchard over Joe Maggetti Jr. Matco Tool dealer and track sponsor Jason Burrier won Pro over Anthony Bonnano. Sportsman had Brad Hake over Bruce Garber. We now have a new sponsor for the timing tower, Zach’s Auto Clinic of Buckeystown Md. welcome aboard. Thank you Steve Dickey for his excellent announcer help. We love having him hangout with us.
