Friday. —  April 25th

This was a Test & Tune night leading up to the next two days of the Mid Atlantic Super Series doubleheader. Ok weather messed with this one. All those that raced made plenty of passes until about 7:40 pm when light showers then a steady rain stopped the action for the night. There were heavy showers most all night. Bummer.
Saturday  —  April 26th
Yes it was still raining early then it stopped, the track staff went after it with all our equipment drying the track in the mid to late morning hours, it kept sprinkling off and on but about 1 pm we were nearly ready to race and then…..more rain showers and we were done for the day.
Sunday   —. April 27th
Finally a bright clear sunny cool day. Cars were fast today too. The program today was one time run and go. Junior Dragsters, all 51 entries got underway way right at 10am. The Junior Dragster class was won by Paul Stalba over Carley Bauman, Luke Chronister and Michael Chirice Jr. were the semi racers. Cassidy Fields won her first race as the winner of the 6 to 9 year old bracket.  The Junior Dragster drivers did a great job pairing up and being race ready through the entire day, they are real pros! Pro class had 40 entries with the “Al’s Body Shop” entry with Chris Crawford driving won out of Earl Sager. Super Pro had 42 entries with Tom Ryan winning over Jason Hoff. Super Street had Keith Mayers over Jeremy Stoker. Super Gas was won by Bob Phillips over Tom Goldman. super Comp was won by Tony Rowe over David Barrett. Top Dragster was won by Bobby Spence over Lin Bowie. And lastly in Top Sportsman it was John Richmond III over Mike Grafas. We finished up about 6:15 pm. Aside the weather knocking out Saturday this was a terrific race. Fast paced, close racing, numerous sub one second 60ft times and big wheel stands were the norm all day long. A big thanks to Rob Keister and his staff for doing such a great job on their end to our staff for handling our part of this event. We had another dynamite track that handled the many low four second passes from many of our racers. We want thank all the participants that traveled from 10 states to be here plus our weekly racers that joined in to make this an outstanding event! Thank you race fans and to the many sponsors that helped too! Oh yeah Rob and the Mid Atlantic Super Series racers are coming back in September! This coming Saturday is the Annual Mopar race and car show! See you this Saturday at Mason Dixon Dragway!
