Saturday — Oct. 12th
This was a huge Test & Tune event along with the last Outlaw Pontiac race for this year. The weather was perfect, temps reached the mid 70’s late in the day. We got underway right at the advertised 11:30 am start time. The Outlaw Pontiacs made two time runs and then got underway, when the dust settled it was Jim Berry over Wayne Skelly with Annette Peer having a really good day taking third place, 25 Pontiacs were on hand today. The points race was really close, Lester Holtzapple of Wellsville Pa. took the championship with Chuck Hutzler finishing a real close second place, Mike Clay ended up in third place. Way to go all the Pontiac racers that raced with us this year! In the $1,000.00 to win race it was Caleb Peddicord over Roger Lewis while Bob Flick was third. Nearly 90 cars entered the Free Gamblers race. There were a total over 160 cars racing today. We ran long today to get the two classes done, we finished up at 6 pm. A real good day!
For the first time we will run the SBRA bracket finals for a full six days, starting Monday and ending Saturday.
I will be there all six, see you at Mason Dixon Dragway this week!
