Friday  —  Sept 13th
This was a big and well attended Test & Tune event that ran from 5pm til nearly 11:30 pm. First off a big shout out to Chesapeake Automotive as they paid for the extra hour of racing and for putting money toward the no entry fee Gamblers Race. Everybody made plenty of runs though we did have some down time due an oil down and several cars that broke and needed help to get back to their pit area. The Gamblers race had 62 entries with Caleb Peddicord winning over Callie Kline, Caleb Kline took third place. We finished up about 11:30 pm. We had a great turn out of racers, 119 entries and lots of race fans, thanks for your support!

Sunday  —  Sept 15th
Sunday was another well attended Test & Tune getting underway at 11:30 am. We had over 80 cars racing, everybody got plenty of runs and about 1 pm we lined up cars for the Gamblers Race. Colyn Hammond had a great outing winning over Lane Baker, Mark Battaglia took third place. We finished up right at the advertised time of 3:30 pm. Minimal down time, another nice Test & Tune event.
Thoughts on this event. Thank you to both Chesapeake Automotive and McCoys Auto Sales Chambersburg Pa. for sponsoring portions of the weekend. How about performances. Ronnie Proctor usually a Top Sportsman car and was a previous Top Sportsman world champion laid down a best 4.26 @ 165 mph with a blistering .99 sixty ft. time. Ray Whittington after a 17 year hiatus from racing ran his totally redone 91 Mustang MD275 racer and though he had computer issues Friday night was competitive on Saturday. Once totally sorted out this should be a fast race car. Welcome back Ray and crew! Once again our race track was dynamite, real hard, quick launches were the norm all three days. Our staff got after cleanups quickly and got us back racing in no time. The rest of our staff from on track, tech, timing system food stand crew, gate staff, management, EMTs and everyone did a great job making this a successful racing weekend. And lastly we thank the many racers that ran each day and our amazing drag race fans for supporting Mason Dixon Dragway! Ok, we are closed this coming weekend, we’ll be back Sept 28th and 29th for SBRA races. See you at Mason Dixon Dragway real soon!
