Saturday  –  March 22nd

Opening day finally! Yes it wasn’t a bad day. Temps upper 50’s but real windy. Not a bad turnout 85 cars made many passes getting cars ready for the 2025 race season. We had a nice mix of cars too. Several Junior Dragsters, bike and  street cars and full on race cars. We did run a $500.00 to win, 49 racers competed with Brian Morrison the winner and Travis Hill getting runner up. We finished up about 4:15 pm. An overall good start to 2025!
Sunday. –  March 23rd
Another decent sunny day greeted our racers and fans. Temps topped out in the low 50’s with sunshine hardly any wind. Again a pretty good turnout. In a the finals it was Caleb Peddicrd with perfect .0000 taking out Eric Bowles with a good .018 light. We finished up about 3:30 pm. Another good day for sure.
Ok the notes on opening day weekend. The weather was no problem. The track property looked great. Traction plainly dynamite. Everybody made plenty of passes. Our track staff performed really well. Just no real issues. A suggestion though. Let’s check our race gear, seat belts and helmets and chassis inspections making sure they aren’t expired. A big thank you to fellow announcer Steve Dickey for helping Saturday. Nothing wrong  this weekend. We thank all the racers, crew and family members, race fans and sponsors too. We will see you all this weekend at Mason Dixon Dragway! Check our schedule on this site for all upcoming events.
