Saturday — April 27th
This was to be our first Street Nite race but rain in the morning through late afternoon caused us to cancel the event.
Sunday — April 28th
This was a well attended Test & Tune event plus the first Nasty 9s race. We got underway right at 11:30 am. We had 14 Nasty 9s entries, two broke early, 12 made round one. Most of the cars were right at the 9.85 Index, in the end Vince Dastra took the win over Ed Bennett Jr., Scott Millhimes took third place. Good close racing from this group, lots of wheel stands too. The Test & Tune turnout was really good, 115 entries. In the $1,000.00 to win no entry fee race there were 54 entries. Daryl Clark and Marcus Henry were to square off in the final but opted to split the money. Dave Slusher Sr. and Justin Crider made it to the semi finals. We had a really good event, it got summer like too, temps hit the mid 80s, lots of race fands too. Thanks to all that attended today.
Ok, this weekend both Saturday and Sunday is the first SBRA points races, Saturday Outlaw Pontiacs and the East Coast Impalas are with us as well. Both days Junior Dragsters start at 9:30 am and big cars at 11:30 am. See you at Mason Dixon Dragway this weekend!
